Canada Wood UK and the High Commission of Canada announce the return of the Canada Wood Days to the United Kingdom.
Building on the success of last year, Canada Wood UK and the High Commission of Canada announce two full-day seminars, for construction industry professionals with an interest in the use of wood in buildings, on 8 th November in London and 10 th November, 2005 in Edinburgh.
Canadian experts will deliver presentations on design and construction in timber, plywood and other engineered wood products, revealing developments and practice techniques, with reference to sustainability issues. Delegates will have the opportunity to listen to and question experts on technical and practical issues, and compare notes with colleagues!

The Canada Wood Days are suitable for all construction industry professionals, including architects, engineers and specifiers.
The presentations will be accredited under the RIBA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Providers Network, and qualify delegates for credits under the RIBA CPD programme. Certificates will be available on request.
Participants are invited to a reception that will take place after the seminar, hosted by Canada Wood UK and the High Commission of Canada, providing an opportunity to ask presenters outstanding questions, on an individual basis, and socialise with fellow industry professionals.
The cost for attendance is only £50 (inclusive of VAT) per person, and includes a comprehensive literature package with CPD assessed publications, refreshments, lunch and the reception. Pre-registration by 28 th October 2005 is essential.
